With summer break quickly approaching does the thought of spending those months sitting in front of the TV sound less than exciting to you? Do you want something more? Something exciting? Something challenging? Something with purpose to be involved in this summer? Then Christian Youth In Action may be just for you.

Christian Youth in Action® is a summer ministry designed for Christian high school and college–aged young people. You will receive training to equip you to share the Gospel with children in clubs, open air, at fairs, children’s rallies, day camps and many other events. You will also be equipped to teach exciting Bible lessons and a true-to-life missionary story as well as dynamic songs at Bible clubs for children held in backyards, apartment complexes, YMCA’s as well as many other locations in the area.

 

Think of it, you could waste another summer of your life just hanging out with your friends or you could reach boys and girls with the Gospel. See your faith and vision for the kingdom of God grow deeper. Build new friendships that can last a lifetime. Grow in communication, teamwork, endurance, responsibility, and self-confidence. Gain experience for ministry in your own local church, school, or vocation.

 

A word of caution however this program is not for everyone. There are several requirements to be a part of CYIA®, the first of which is that you must be in a committed relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ that includes a daily personal devotional and prayer time.
